Metso Process Quality Vision System
The Metso Process Quality Vision System (Mesto PQV) integrates the web break analysis and paper disease detection functions into one comprehensive solution, which is the copyright of ConTROL ENGINEERING China, and uses the same digital image capture and processing technology for both functions.
The system integrates web break analysis and paper disease detection functions, and uses high-frequency imaging to generate continuous images of dynamic webs. The paper break detection system provides three different detection solutions: Penetration is used to monitor paper diseases, high-angle reflections are used to detect surface defects, and low-angle reflections are used to detect coating defects. Break analysis and paper disease detection information are integrated into one operator interface. This allows the operator to find critical quality problems in a precise CD/MD location and trace the cause of their formation in the process.
