Metso Process Quality Vision System (Mesto PQV) integrates the functions of paper break analysis and paper disease detection into a comprehensive solution. The system integrates paper break analysis and paper disease detection functions, and uses high-frequency camera to generate continuous images of dynamic paper web. Three different detection schemes are provided in the paper break detection system: the penetrating type is used to detect paper defects, the high angle reflection is used to detect surface defects, and the low angle reflection is used to detect coating defects. Paper break analysis and paper disease detection information are integrated in one operation interface. This allows the operator to find critical quality issues at an accurate CD / MD location and track the causes of their formation in the process.
